New patients
The initial consultation focusses on assessment of the main desired outcomes.
Where possible, call in advance or email your specific needs or behaviours. We will do our utmost to accommodate. By pre-submitting medical history, medication lists (including injections) & relevant behaviours, assists our staff and dentists to use this appointment to focus on the dental examination & making our patients as comfortable as possible.
We have an OPG X-ray machine onsite, perfect for familiarisation in a low stimulus environment.
At the discretion of the dentist, we can assist children younger than 10 years for desensitisation to the dental clinic. Call our staff to discuss.
Refer yourself below. You do not need a doctor referral (Except for DVA).
Payment
Fees are always payable on the day of the appointment: Surcharges apply to EFTPOS ($0.20) and Credit Card transactions (Visa 0.13% / Mastercard 1.19% / Amex 0.95%), cheque and cash are accepted. If you have private dental insurance then you will be able to claim a rebate from your insurer either at the time of your appointment or by processing yourself online. All details of insurance should be discussed directly with your insurance company.
DVA
We are proud to offer our services to eligible Australian Defence Service Personnel and Veterans, please bring your DVA Gold Card to your appointment. If you hold a White Card please call 1300 550 457 OPT 3 to enquire about your eligibility for dental treatment.
Medicare
We are a non-bulk billing practice, adult dental services do not attract a Medicare benefit. If you are under the age of 18 and are eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule “CDBS”, let us know upon booking. Please note, 0ut of pocket expenses will be incurred as the full cost of treatment is not covered by Medicare/Child Dental Benefit Scheme “CDBS”.
NDIS
The National Disability Insurance Scheme does not cover dental treatment. We can work with NDIS service providers to build capacity in oral hygiene and train group home staff to implement oral hygiene plans. NDIS can fund assistance for travel and accompanying staff to attend dental visits.
